      本文针对渐开线圆柱齿轮传动的设计，采用了现代设计方法进行优化设计探讨。文章中以一对齿轮传动副的体积最小作为优化设计目标，期望通过获得最小体积的齿轮传动副来减小整个传动箱的体积。并借助编制计算机程序进行优化设计，用以弥补手工计算的诸多不足。文中探讨了数学模型的建立、算法确定、计算机程序的编制。并结合工程实际给出了计算实例。

英文摘要:

      The content of this article is about optimal design of involute cylindrical gear transmission ,which is discussed with modern method.This design target is to minimize the size of a pair of gears and then small the transmission-gear box.Relieving deficiencies of manual calculation, computer programs must be used in the optimal design. This article mainly probe into mathematical model and computational algorithms and computer programs and calculative example was given.
